Happening Now
Canned Food Drive
School breaks mean fewer school meals for a lot of local kids. Help fill the gap with canned and nonperishable food. We post our current drop-off boxes on Instagram.

Students hold food drives at their own schools. Neighborhood businesses host our donation boxes. One girl even collected donations at her birthday party. Our president, Samiyah Hoodbhoy, started AHS to support kids in her own community, and it’s still neighbors helping neighbors.

Canned soup, cereal, rice, and peanut butter. We collect pantry staples through school and community drives, then sort and pack them for families.

Volunteer
Lend a hand
We need help collecting, sorting, packing, and handing out donations at our drives. Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Kids under 12 just need a guardian with them.
